565 combination route, 50 miles (80 km) north of Birmingham,
Alabama and 55 miles (89 km) south of Huntsville, Alabama.

Huntsville

| Decatur
Decatur County, Alabama is a ex - county of the state of Alabama,
United States. Its name is in honor of Commodore Stephen Decatur
of the United States Navy. Its county seat was Woodville.
Decatur County was recognized on December 7, 1821. In 1822,
the locality of Woodville was chosen as its county seat, but
a few years later it was found that the county did not have
the legitimate area and it was abolished, its territory being
divided between Madison County and Jackson County.
