Hours of Operation
Several bus routes operate 24 hours a day, and three routes provide
overnight service between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. See individual route
schedules for hours of operations.
A Sign Marks the Bus Stop
Always wait for Metrobus at the bus-stop sign. Bus routes and bus
destinations are usually listed. For your safety, buses stop only
at designated bus stops.
When the bus nears your stop, look for the route name and destination
on the bus display sign above the windshield. A number, name/letter,
or both identify most bus routes. Some trips within the same route
serve only a portion of that route. These routes are called short
turns. A number attached to a letter (Example: 22A) identifies short-turn
routes. Other routes may have a number and name, such as 51 Flagler
MAX or 202 Little Haiti Connection. It is important to check the
display sign to be sure the bus is traveling to your destination.
Have your exact fare, token, transfer ticket, Golden Passport, Patriot
Passport, or Metropass ready. Allow passengers in wheelchairs and
any passenger with a physical disability to board or exit first.
