Bentley the British car manufacturer is manufacturing a new Azure convertible based on the Mulsanne. The new Bentley Azure car is likely to be launched on next summer.
The power of the car will be provided by a twin turbo 6.75-L V8 engine system with 505 bhp or 377 kW / 512 PS and 1020 Nm or 752 lb-ft of torque. It will let the Azure to run from 0-60 mph in under 5.5 seconds in which the Mulsanne make the same duty in 5.1 seconds, before striking a top speed of 184 mph.
The 2011 Azure will aspect bold styling, two doors, and a canvas roof. Unfortunately the Mulsanne controversial front end will be part of the package. The new Bentley Mulsanne is set to change the current Arnage as the brands flagship sedan. The Azure convertible will also be based on the new giant sedan with big-eyed headlights.
Bentley has made a massive investment in its Crewe plant to build the Mulsanne, and it only makes sense that the automaker is preparing more than one variant to increase the cost of improvement.
