Mitsubishi the Japanese auto maker has announced 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport in U.S. and will going to make its first debut at the 2010 New York Auto Show. The 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is also called as 2011 RVR which is known as ASX in Europe has sold over 5,000 units in the first month of sale in Japan.
The 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is powered with a 2.0-L MIVEC 4-cylinder engine facilitating to convey an expected fuel consumption of 30 mpg. The car is attractive, fuel efficient, compact and also available with four-wheel-drive as an option.
Mitsubishi initially expected to sell upto 1,500 units per month, but have already sold a total of 5,169 units. On the solded cars 75% of cars were the highest “G” specifications with broad angle HID headlights and push button start, 18% of cars were the mid-level “M” specifications and 7% were the opening level “E” specifications.
