Automobile Fair in city: Hundreds visit old, new cars

An automobile fair was held at the city's Youth Club ground last week has various models of new and old cars were exhibited all through the day.

As many as 40 to 50 years old models of car, belonging to internationally famous brands were brought at the trade for the interested buyers. Most of these automobiles are no longer in use anyplace in the world as they are not produced by the companies concerned. Automobiles belonging to 1960 to 2006 models were put on show at the fair. Besides, there were as well new models of cars.

Ford Motor sets up R&D center in Nanjing

Ford Motor China has acknowledged government support for the establishment of Ford Motor Research & Engineering (Nanjing) Co. Ltd.

Located in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu, the new corporation is part of Ford's worldwide network for R&D and component sourcing.

Ford's car making joint undertakings comprises-Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Corp. Ltd. that saw sales repetition to 129,790 vehicles previous year as compared to 61,022 units in 2005.

Citizen report assists recover stolen automobile

Three teenaged inhabitants of a motor vehicle in the Fairplay Sanitation District parking lot acted apprehensively when a female saw them drive away at about 7 a.m. on March 13.

The female, who demanded secrecy, called the communications center for the Park County Sheriff's Office, officers were vigilant, and the vehicle was pulled over at Second Street and Castello Avenue at Fairplay. Deputy Nick Colby made the prime contact, and Corporal Rod Greeley and Sergeant Mike Brown as well assisted, said Park County Under sheriff Monte Gore.
