Long road ahead for Chinese cars

China leapfrogged Japan to become the world's second leading car market with a 25 per cent boost in automobile sales last year, according to the Chinese Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

Nearly 80 major international car brands have manufacture partnerships in China, and with a violent domestic energy and willpower, a new sill of rivalry has been predicted.

California dreaming of green automobile fuels

Slashing greenhouse gases from California's gasoline in the coming 14 years would reformulate not just our fuel but pretty possibly our whole notion of the California dream, changing what we drive, how we fuel up and in most probable how much we spent for the pleasure.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger last week planned a changing measure in his state of the state address: Cut the carbon content of fuels 10 percent by 2020.

Car production and sales exceed 7 million

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers has established that amid January and November this year, the manufacture and sale of Chinese cars augmented by 27.9 percent and 25.5 percent correspondingly from last year. It is supposed production and sale of cars would more exceed 7 million by December.

This year, the Chinese car industry has qualified high growth. Demand for cars has once over risen; car imports that had stagnated are again growing fast; and exports of Chinese cars have full-grown for the fourth successive year, sales of which make up 11 percent of the worldwide total.
