The worldwide air transport industry will need to train and employ new pilots and new maintenance workers on next 20 years announced in a report by Boeing the famous aircraft manufacturing company.
Boeing said at present there are 233,000 pilots and 100,000 mechanics and engineers working for global airlines. There is additional need for workers in Asia.
The international airlines will need new skilled 466,650 pilots and 596,500 maintenance staff will be needed between 2010 and 2029. The demand will increase fast in Asia particularly in China about 180,600 pilots and 220,000 mechanics would be required.
The training management is a big challenge. The infrastructure now in Asia Pacific is not necessarily on a scale that can address this entire requirement said in a report by Roei Ganzarski chief customer officer of Boeing Training and Flight Services.
The International Air Transport Association or IATA said the traveler traffic was improved to 9.2% in July compared with last year. The traffic was particularly in Asia Pacific region increase by 10.9% year on year.
In Europe and North America the traveler improvement is in a slower rate informed in a report by Giovanni Bisignani the director general of IATA.

The survey work of Petrie to Kippa ring rail transport is going to start after the assurance of federal government. The project is going to start at the beginning of next month said in parliament by Rachel Nolan the Transport Minister of Queensland.
The employees will start the work by taking land survey from last weekend in October. The community discussion will be started with a sequence of open days next to the passage in November announced in a report by Rachel Nolan.
The federal government is assured to spend $742mn for the project during last month election campaign. The Queensland government and project group will carry on their work plans to finalise the design of project.
The construction of the rail transport line is started in 2012 and it is planned to start the rail transportation in 2016.

International Air Transport Association or IATA announced the Peru air transport is developing its air transport services and stronger in its position in Latin America.
The Peru economy is increasing faster than other countries in world due to the result of Government economic policies that are open and moderate because of government policies. The strength of Peru economy gives it an exclusive chance to support a plan for aviation to be an even bigger contributor to Peru economy.
The success of liberal and open economic policies provides a proven model to follow said in a report by IATA Director General and CEO Giovanni Bisignani. Bisignani pointed out that civil aviation in Peru grew by almost 10% this year.
The technology continues to make air transport industry ahead. The air transport connects nations and economies with a worldwide network. It obtains lot of courage to control an airline in a very complicated working situation said in a report by Bisignani.

Greece rail transport and public transport employees walk off on strike over planned economic development program of debt ridden state transport system of the country.
The 5hr walk off from 11AM-4PM by transport employees stopped trains all over the country and left Athens without any type of public transport. The unions oppose centre left governments policy to reorganize the loss making state railways and capitals bus, metro, urban rail transport and tram systems.
Greece hardly evaded insolvency in May using billions of euros in crisis loans from European Union and International Monetary Fund. The government cuts the expenses including wages and retirement fund of employees and increased taxes of customers to protect the loan funds.

US President Barack Obama announced $50 billion for transport infrastructure to restore road transport highways, rail transport lines and air transport runways to generate jobs and improve long term U.S. transportation system. The $50 billion would be used in first year and part of 6-year transportation list must be approved by Congress.
The plan is to form an infrastructure bank to manage federal funds with state, local and private funding for main projects. The plan is to reconstruct 150,000 miles of roads, bridges and increasing capacity on few of them. To construct and preserve 4,000 miles of rail lines, high speed rail and traveler lines. Renovation of 150 miles of air transport runways for next generation air traffic control system.
The White House announced its planned $50 billion is part of conventional long term transportation bill which is developed in Congress. The administration not said if it supports a $500 billion, 6-year bill for highways, rail and transport is assembled by House of Representatives Transportation Committee.
The $500 billion is almost twice the amount of last approval which ended in 2009. The administration proposed work on long time was belated until 2011 after this year November 2 congressional voting. Congressional work on transportation statement slowed this year due to problem how to pay for work.
The House approved a bill in July for $79 billion in transportation expenses which is more than half of it for roads and bridges in the financial year that starts on Oct 1. Work on legislation to revise the aviation system delayed just before Congress recessed for August. The $50 billion plan planned by Obama would double $27 billion permitted for transportation by incentive statement.

The UK government is planning to create a national transport smartcard for buses, trains and trams said in a report by Transport Minister Norman Baker.
The Department for Transport also confirmed that it has already paying costs to Transport for London so that Oyster smartcard readers can be improved to recognize the upcoming national card. The Oyster card is likely to continue to be issued for travel in and around Greater London.
The Oyster cards are launched in London in 2003 and currently account for most travels made on public transport. The Transport for London states only about 1 in 20 underground travel keep a visit to ticket office nowadays and National Rail stations in Greater London started to allow Oyster cards at beginning of 2010.
Mr Baker is predicted the entire mode version which is suited with smartcards provided by Passenger Transport Executives. The nine great metropolitan cities in England are getting grants of £20mn respectively from DfT to produce smartcard development.
Mr Baker plan cover England simply and planning are done with governments in Scotland and Wales so that the future national transport smartcard would be functional everywhere in UK.

North American airlines will get 7,200 new aircrafts which is $700bn on next 20 years in that most of them are narrow bodies predicted by Boeing. It said the North American air transport will be increased to 9,000 by 2029.
The new air transport deliveries in US and Canada will be driven mostly by need to leave older due to less fuel-efficient single-aisle air transport and local jets as airlines replace them with new-generation, extra fuel efficient models said in the report by Boeing.
Boeing predicted demand for 1,180 widebodies in North America over next 20 years. Twin aisle air transports will develop in the region as airlines go on to expand worldwide point to point services to wider range. Small and mid sized twin aisle airplanes will increased by 2029.
he 747 size and larger air transports will not see large demand in North America. At present two main North American traveler airlines United and Delta only run 747s. The need for regional jets in North America airlines moved to extra fuel efficient turboprops or bigger jetliner air transport.

Ford the US car manufacturer revealed new Ford Explorer Police Interceptor utility vehicle. The Ford Explorer Police Interceptor will be revealed with a new Taurus Interceptor model.

The Ford Explorer Police Interceptor and Taurus Interceptor cars are powered with a 3.5L V6 Ti-VCT engine system which produces up to 280hp. The car is able to run on E85 fuel. The engine delivers 20% better fuel economy than the 4.6L SOHC V8 engine used on the Crown Vic.
The new Ford Explorer Police Interceptor car uses 6-speed automatic transmission to advance primary sprint through low gears whereas running more competently when coasting in higher gears. The Off-road versions of Explorer will also be available, capable of hauling 800 pounds in freight spot.
The new Ford Explorer Police Interceptor utility will features 4-wheel smart curve control brake system, water cooled power transfer unit in AWD, improved alternator and 18-inch wheels. The safety features of the car will be found all through the Utility model which get satisfactory in 75 mph rear crash tests.
