Asciano signed agreement with Sadleirs revenue $150 million

Asciano Ltd the transport provider has signed an agreement with Sadleirs Transport for long period rail transport service. The revenue of the agreement is $150 million over the next seven years.

Rail Transport

Asciano is in the business of water transport and rail transport service, Sadleirs is in freight forwarding service. Asciano the Pacific National company is handling the transport needs of Sadleirs in between Melbourne and Perth. The company previously handles the rail transport system between Sydney and Perth.

The new agreement will get more flexibility for both the partners. The agreement was achievable because of the eagerness and capability of Pacific National that permit it to take up different agreement and accomplish them said in a report by Mark Rowsthorn, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Asciano.

Sadleirs is currently come across for increasing opportunities and needs the growth of Kewdale rail freight terminal in Western Australia and intended to build a new rail freight terminal in Spotswood and Victoria which is completed at the end of this year said in a report by Ian Cook the Managing Director of Sadleirs.
