Lotus revealed 2011 Lotus Elise facelift car

Lotus sports and racing car manufacturer have been revealed the 2011 Lotus Elise facelift car.  The car attributes important modifications at the front and rear, with new version of the obtainable engines.

The 2011 Lotus Elise car is powered with 1.6L engine from Toyota which produces 134-hp and 118 pound-feet of torque. The Lotus Elise R is powered by a 1.8L engine producing 192-hp while the Lotus Elise SC holds a supercharged 1.8L producing 217-hp.

The 2011 Lotus Elise car has a twin tear drop front light cluster, LED daytime running lights in headlight. The car also uses a remodeled Evora-esque front, with a wider grille, new engine cover, updated splitter, improved aerodynamics and LED direction indicators.

These exterior changes reduced drag, and played a part in the 13% reduction in emissions. Each of the three models now emits under 200 grams of CO2 per km. The car has new 6-speed transmission, cruise control, and 2 new sets of alloy wheels. The 2011 Lotus Elise car makes its first public debut at Geneva with cost of the car to be proclaimed concurrently.  The 2011 Lotus Elise car is available for sales at UK dealers in April.
