General Motors the world famous automaker unveiled its new Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept at 2010 Detroit Auto Show. The concept car is a full-size luxury sedan from Cadillac and also shows some technical features, which includes a plug-in hybrid system.
The Power of the Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept car comes from a 3.6L V6 direct-injected gasoline engine connected to a plug-in hybrid system. The car offers an entire output of 350-hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The XTS Platinum also gets Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) to increase handling and performance of the car.
The Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept car was designed to visualize the luxury sedan as your individual headquarters. The interior of the XTS Platinum is comfortable, luxurious, bright, clear Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) display panels in place of traditional gauges and typical LCD screens.
The plug-in capability offers a liquid-cooled lithium ion pack that is lithium cells with a little 8 kilowatt-hour capacity. The electric drive capacity of the car is at speed below 40 mph. On high acceleration or speed, it provides high electric power and battery is depleted of its plug-in charge.
