The 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet will be offered in two special powertrain choices. The E350 Cabriolet with 3.5-liter V6 engine, 268-hp and 258 lb-feet of torque. The E550 Cabriolet with 5.5-liter V8 engine, 382-hp and 391 lb-ft of torque.

The car is based on the E-Class Coupe, with a new technology AIRCAP automatic draft-stop. When a button is pressed, the turbulence decreases significantly for all four seat occupant, keeping your hair nice and neat and in place. Also the 2011 model neck-level heating system and the sound-dampening soft top, which goes down in just 20 seconds which is driven at speed of up to 20 mph.

The car includes a 2.4-inch wind deflector which expands from windshield, along with a draft-stop escalated after the rear seats. The E-Class Convertible not has a hard-top, but a 0.9-inch cloth roof is on the top. The trunk of the car is almost 14 cubic feet of space and cut down to 3 cubic feet when top is dropped and packed after the rear passengers.
