Chrysler Group show electric version Fiat 500 at 2010 Detroit Auto Show

Chrysler Group one of the famous US automaker is announced that it will show electric version of the Fiat 500 minicar at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show next month.

The Chrysler Fiat 500 minicar will be powered by Fiat's 1.4-liter FIRE engine, for completely incorporated robotized. The output of engine will vary from about 100 hp for the base model to about 175 hp for the turbocharged version destined to be the Abarth sporty model.

Chrysler will make the FIRE engines in its Dundee, Mich., plant starting in next year. At 139.6 inches, the four-passenger 500 hatchback is 33 inches longer than the Smart ForTwo. In addition to the electric version of the 500, Chrysler will display the entire Fiat 500 cars the sources said. The 500C cabriolet is also added and planned to go on sale in 2011.
