BMW car maker revealed an upgraded model of the new Z4, sDrive35is. The new BMW Z4 sDrive35is will make its first appearance at 2010 Detroit Auto Show and it gets some of the performance needed for BMW fans.
The sDrive35is is upgraded with the six-cylinder 3.0 liter twin-turbo engine. The engine generates 335 horsepower at 5,900 rpm and maximum torque of 332 lb-ft. The car contains electronically controlled overboost function which briefly increase torque under full load by another 37 lb-ft. This brings the torque peak to 369 lb-ft.
The 2011 BMW Z4 sDrive35is runs from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. BMW Z4 sDrive35is is limited electronically to 250 km/h or 155 mph. The engine is combined with 7-speed Double-Clutch Transmission which provides a Launch Control function for maximum performance when accelerating from a standstill. BMW sDrive35is weighs 1,525 kg / 3,362 lbs.

The BMW Z4 sDrive35is contains new M Sport upgrades adaptive M Suspension and M Aerodynamics. The adaptive M Suspension merges a ride-height decrease of 10 millimeters with electronically controlled shock absorbers. The M-Sport 18-inch light wheels in five-spoke design round off the sporty character of the Z4 sDrive35is.
