Bush advocates purchasing hybrid autos

President Bush toured two U.S. automobile plants last week, looked under the cover of a hybrid car, and advised Americans to purchasing more modern-fuel vehicles."You are making a new kind of auto that is literally a part of changing America for the better," Bush told automobile workers at a Ford assembly plant near Kansas City.Seeking to give a boost to his domestic plans in his final two years as president, Bush has stated a program to restrain growth in automobile emissions by raising the use of alternative fuels and developing fuel efficiency.
