Retail sales carry on pushing higher at very healthy pace in Ontario and across Canada, according to a report Statistics Canada.
Ontario retailers did $12.46 billion (Canadian) of business during August. That stated an increase of 6.6 percent from the same month a year ago.
The nationwide profit was even stronger. Retail sales through Canada were up 9.2 percent.
